Chelsea, Man United & Everton stars named in Argentina’s provisional World Cup squad
he Argentinian Football Association have this evening announced the
country’s provisional 35-man squad for this summer’s World Cup.
In addition, the management teams of all 32 countries set to travel to Russia have begun whittling down the number of players whom they will depend on for international football’s biggest showpiece.
Manchester United duo Sergio Romero and Marcos Rojo are both included, along with Nicolas Otamendi and Sergio Aguero from Manchester City.
All of Chelsea, Everton and West Ham United are also represented, by Willy Caballero, Ramiro Funes Mori and Manuel Lanzini respectively.
There are also places for all of the Albiceleste’s raft of attacking stars, with Lionel Messi, Gonzalo Higuain, Paulo Dybala, Mauro Icardi and the aforementioned Aguero included:
